When opening the Help an error message appears

The Help files from SCIA Engineer are installed by default. When during installation the customer has chosen not to install these files, the help can not be shown. Trough Add/Remove Programs it is possible to modify the installation of SCIA Engineer so the Help files can be added.

To access the help, the default browser of the system is used. This implies that, if an error message appears, in most of the cases this is due to the Security and ActiveX settings of the browser. In Internet Explorer for examples, these settings can be altered trough Tools > Internet Options > Security.

When changing the Security settings does not solve the problem, the browser probably hasn’t got access to certain components. On the Support website of Microsoft some solutions to this problem are presented. One of them is the following:
