September has arrived. Fully packed school buses, the smell of new books and a relaunched daily rush that we’re used to again sooner than we’d expect. Gotta love it!
For most of us, our school days are a pleasant memory from many years ago, but let’s go back (in our minds) to that time of learning, trying and taking our first steps in the industry that we’re now active in. Our future is in the hands of the young people of today, and that’s why, at SCIA, we want to give the opportunity to students in structural engineering to put their work in the spotlight through our student contest. After careful consideration, the SCIA jury chose 3 winners. Wondering what the future of structural design looks like? Click here!
You don’t have to be a student to learn new things though. In this newsletter you’ll find out more about 3D printing in construction and how to design with the utilisation factor!
Have a nice day,
The SCIA team
