ABSTRACT: BIM or Building Information Modelling is the evolutionary process of representing one central model within multiple disciplines. BIM creates and maintains in realtime multidimensional, datarich "views" through a project lifecycle to support communication (sharing of data), collaboration (acting on shared data), simulation (using shared data for prediction), optimization (using feedback on shared data to improve the design), documentation and delivery [Ref.1].
